About Us at Rain-A-Way Exteriors, Inc
Rain-A-Way Exteriors, Inc. was originally founded by Mr. V.L. Castor in the 1950's. Along with his wife, Dorothy, V.L. operated the business under the name V.L. Castor Construction Co. until 1969, when Mr. Castor incorporated the business under the name Rain-A-Way Gutter Co., Inc.
In 1970, V.L's grandson and current owner, Darrell Sams, began working with his grandpa at the business. In 1978 Darrell purchased the company from his grandfather. He has operated it ever since then, following the same honest, fair and quality minded business practices that he learned working alongside his grandpa.
In 2011, Rain-A-Way Gutter Co., Inc. changed its name to Rain-A-Way Exteriors, Inc. to better define the services that we offer. Although our name has changed, we are still the same family owned and operated business that Grandpa started those many years ago. Our commitment to quality, honesty, and fairness, AND our commitment to our customer's complete satisfaction remains the same!
